Modern Slavery Statement
Modern Slavery Statement
Press Power Group specialises in the supply and installation of electrical and energy efficiency systems, as well as preventative and reactive maintenance services for electrical contracts and projects throughout Central West NSW.
The purpose of this statement is to outline Press Power Group’s approach to ensuring robust frameworks and processes are in place to minimise the risk of modern slavery within our business operations and supply chain.
Press Power Group recognises that slavery and human trafficking can occur in many forms, as considered under the Modern Slavery Act 2018. These can include, but are not limited to:
- Slavery
- Servitude
- Human trafficking
- Forced marriage
- Forced labour
- Debt bondage
- Child labour
- Deceptive recruiting for labour or services
Press Power Group is committed to operating responsibly and maintaining high ethical standards across our business. Human trafficking and modern slavery will not be tolerated in any form within our organisation.
We are incorporating our approach to modern slavery risks into our compliance framework and assurance processes. This helps ensure that robust and effective processes are embedded in the way we conduct business.
Press Power Group recognises the importance of protecting human rights and is committed to protecting the rights of:
- Employees
- Customers and clients
- The communities in which we operate
- People who may be affected by our activities
- Contractors and suppliers
- People within our supply chains
We have formal policies in place designed to promote ethical and legally compliant business conduct.
To support these commitments, Press Power Group aims to:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of the business and supply chain that may be at greater risk of modern slavery.
- Where appropriate, engage with new suppliers regarding our Anti-Slavery Policy to understand the measures they have in place to prevent modern slavery within their businesses.
- Incorporate specific prohibitions within relevant contractual documentation against slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking and child labour.
- Continually monitor and review our processes to minimise the risk of breaches of our policies.
Press Power Group remains committed to responsible business practices and to continually improving the processes used to identify, manage and minimise modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chain.
