Press Power Group designed and installed a 65kW solar system for Orana Heights School, helping the site make greater use of on-site solar generation during the school day.
The system was planned around the school’s daytime electricity demand, making solar a practical fit for a site where energy use is concentrated through regular operating hours.

Designed Around Daytime Demand
Schools can be well suited to solar because a large portion of electricity use occurs during daylight hours. Press Power designed the system to help offset that daytime demand, allowing more of the electricity generated on-site to be used directly by the school.
This approach helps improve the value of the solar system by matching generation with the periods when the site is most active.
Sungrow Commercial Inverter
The installation uses a 50kW Sungrow inverter, providing the central conversion and management point for the solar array. Sungrow equipment was selected as part of a commercial-scale system designed to suit the requirements of the site.
